San Antonio Texas isn’t exactly anyone’s first choice when it comes to avant-garde psyche, but Arbiter might change that.

They can swing from what is unmistakably stoner metal into some Jethro Tull inspired “What the fuck was that?” and then right back again. You have no idea where you’re going, but you’re along for the ride, because they’ve made it a complete experience.

Listening to this band is like doing mushrooms. You are taken on a journey from the start that doesn’t exactly go where you had hoped, but where you were meant to end up. I highly recommend dedicating an afternoon to listening to Arbiter.
